Welcome to Connected RP. By creating an account or accessing this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO USE THIS PLATFORM. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Misrepresentation of your age may result in permanent removal.

SECTION 1 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Connected RP, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this platform.

SECTION 2 — YOUR ACCOUNT

2.1 Registration You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including a valid birthdate to verify your age. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.2 Multiple Accounts Members may create up to 5 accounts under the same IP address, allowing you to run multiple characters or personas within the platform. Each account operates independently with its own profile, character sheet, and storylines. Creating additional accounts to evade an active ban or suspension is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent removal of all associated accounts.

2.3 Account Security You are solely responsible for your account. Connected RP is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account. Notify us immediately through our Support Center if you suspect unauthorized access.

SECTION 3 — USER CONTENT

3.1 Your Content Is Yours You retain ownership of any original content you create and post on Connected RP, including character profiles, written roleplay, artwork, screenshots, and creative writing. By posting content on the platform, you grant Connected RP a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

3.2 Content Standards You agree not to post content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Depicts, promotes, or facilitates harm to minors in any way
• Constitutes harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of another member
• Spreads deliberate misinformation or impersonates another person
• Contains malware, spam, or unauthorized promotional material

Mature content (sexual themes, graphic violence, heavy trauma) is permitted in designated areas only, must be properly tagged, and must involve characters written as 18 or older. The Adult Content toggle must also be enabled on any mature post.

3.3 Content Removal Connected RP reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines at any time, without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

SECTION 4 — COMMUNITY CONDUCT

All members agree to:

• Treat other members with respect in all out-of-character (OOC) interactions
• Keep in-character (IC) conflict within the bounds of collaborative storytelling
• Not use roleplay as cover for genuine harassment or targeting of real people
• Comply with the community's content warning and tagging standards
• Report rule violations through proper channels rather than public callouts

Detailed conduct standards are outlined in the Connected RP Community Guide, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

SECTION 5 — AGE VERIFICATION & MINORS

Connected RP is an 18+ platform. We do not knowingly allow minors to register or participate. If we become aware that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately suspended and removed.

Users who suspect a minor has registered should report this through our Support Center immediately.

All characters involved in romantic, sexual, or graphic violent content must be written as 18 years of age or older. Age-ambiguous characters default to 18+.

SECTION 6 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

6.1 Platform Content All platform infrastructure, design, branding, and original content created by Connected RP is the property of Connected RP and may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without written permission.

6.2 Third-Party Games & Platforms Connected RP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Electronic Arts / Maxis (The Sims 4), Krafton (inZOI), or Linden Lab (Second Life). Use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service.

SECTION 7 — TERMINATION

Connected RP may suspend or permanently ban your account at any time for violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases immediately.

SECTION 8 — DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Connected RP is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy of content posted by users, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Connected RP is not liable for damages arising from your use of the platform, content posted by other users, or technical interruptions.

SECTION 9 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the platform. Continued use of Connected RP after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
